  3. Virtus Corporation of Cary, NC is marketing a low-end ($395) virtual reality
  4. package for the Macintosh called Virtus WalkThrough.  The program allows the
  5. user to quickly create 3-D environments while moving around and through them.
  6. Frame rates are currently in the range of 1 to 10 Hz on a typical Mac II with
  7. no accelerators.  The observer is controlled by mouse movements, and all 
  8. rendering is done directly to the screen (no additional hardware required).
